This particular shoe was for Courtney’s 21st Birthday and it is actually purple but photographs’ blue (obviously more blue in that mix than I thought). I accented that colour using different settings on the camera having a bit of fun at the same time. The ruffle was my design, incorporating the very popular ruffle into a shoe design was great.
I has so much fun with this cake. I have made shoes before but this time I made my stiletto using the shoe former from Jennifer Dontz. It is so amazing to use and takes out the proportional guess work that I have had in the past. Thanks to Jo from Ciccio who alerted me to this fantastic kit.
Oh and just a note. Courtney was born on February 29th so effectively this is her 5th Birthday!
