DJ & Morgwn's wedding - February 2013

A rather unusual idea for a wedding cake, but it fit in with the outdoor exotic theme the couple had ;) The daughter of my mum & dad’s best friends was the bride (& she looked stunning!!) The design on the middle tier is actually a frequency pattern of the couple’s voices, they recorded ‘I love you husband/I love you wife’ & had it engraved on their wedding bands, & thought it would be good to incorporate it onto the cake aswell. I think it’s a great idea, most definitely unique :)
DJ & Morgwn sent me a picture of Bettina’s original design & asked me to come up with something similar…& together we came up with the final design for their cake.

The blue Singapore Orchids are fresh flowers – the florist didn’t have any spare for my practising purposes, so the small lilac Singapore Orchids were used to figure out final placement of the flowers, hence the 2 different views.
