First cake

I know very well that this is a very simple cake compared to the stunning cakes I have seen.It is the first cake with buttercream I have ever made.The royal icing on the side was also the first time for me.I was used to flat surfaces which are much easier.The cakes , apart from the first level,were brought by two friends who want to learn the few things I know and are not as expected.Anyway,I tried to do my best in the 2 hours I had free.As everybody remembers their first cake,I hope that one day I will reach the quality of the cakes I see and look back at that cake with love.First loves are never forgotten anyway!
