Ruffle Dress Inspired Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was inspired by the brides dress. She wanted to incorporate the ruffles, zipper and buttons on the cake. Unfortunately I did not get to see the picture of her dress. So sketched a design based on what she told me. She loved the design.

The bride was also very conscious of edible food coloring and luster (though considered edible) being used in cakes. So she requested not to use any luster or food color to make the fondant white. She did approve of a tiny bit of sparkle so I used that very sparingly.
