Valentine’s Cake made for a surprise gift. An image was given to me by the customer, so I do not know who the original design belongs to. Inside is chocolate cake, filled with chocolate ganache. The ‘I feel it in my fingers’ I feel it in my toes’ has been handpiped in royal icing – my very first attempt at writing in royal icing, I was very nervous but think it turned out ok! xx

Charlotte, this is gorgeous.. I really love it !!! So cute and different!!
May I ask which tip number you used for writing? When I use the number two, it is too big and with the number one, the icing gets stuck. Thanks!!

Ah thank you Dina!! I used a PME Supatube No 1, I had the icing get stuck a couple of times too, I just used a pin to unblock the end :) xx

Hi again, it is the PME number I am using as well… But it is driving me crazy as it gets stuck while writing and it is hard to “erase” and start again :-)))) I think I am going to raise this question in the forum… Thanks for the info!!!
Again, love this cake…

Hmm, my icing was pretty runny….but I’m no expert! Good idea to post in forum! :)
