This cake was made for my oldest daughter Bella’s 9th Birthday. She designed a fairy on her pixie hollow game and asked if I could make a cake topper of her. She want clear see threw wings. I tried using gelatin but the isomalt wings came out more of the look she was going for. This was the first time I had painted a face. Was not pleased with it. The next day after her party I took some vodka and a Q-tip, got rid of the super red lips and added fondant eyes and decided Im sticking to fondant faces till I get the whole painting thing figured out! lol! Thanks for looking.

I think the fairy looks really good both ways, but I probably prefer the more natural look without the red lips. I love the design of the cake!
