Valentine hearts

Tomorrow is Valentine’s day…became a day to celebrate in the 80’s in Greece..As a child in Canada,age 8 then and my first year in a foreign country,I had no idea about that day.Our teacher showed us how to make a red paper heart pocket to put our cards in!What cards?,I wondered.They gave me beautiful cards about love and I was amazed!For me it is a day of universal love and I always hope that one day this feeling might prevail more than now.I made these cookies taking ideas from various pictures and will give them to my students tomorrow.I had fun…even though I make everything late at night after I finish teaching.I am a tutor and teach English in the afternoon and in the morning.Have a beautiful day tomorrow!!
