This was the cake that started our business. The bride requested a cake with purple calla lilies to feed 200 people. There are over 100 handmade gumpaste flowers and over 50 gumpaste leaves. The cake is all butter cream, iced using Sharon Zambito’s method. All cakes are WASC (omitting the almond flavor). The bottom tier is filled with chocolate ganache and roasted coconut butter cream. The next tier is filled with homemade lemon curd and fresh strawberries. The last two tiers are filled with orange and key lime butter creams.
