A cake for Royston who is 80. This is a hand-modeled WW2 airplane, made from mmf and painted, perched above a lemon sponge cake. The stripes were done using a transfer method that I once read about on Jessicakes, but I couldn’t find it, so I’m not sure I did it according to her plan! Anyway, it wasn’t bad for a first try, and I will definitely try it again.

I love it! Your plane is awesome, and your stripes are perfect. I imagine horizontal stripes are difficult to get so straight and even!
