As a kid, I loved Chinese New Year… it was about spending time with the family, it was about the food and most importantly, it was all about getting the moolah :) Although I don’t really receive red pockets these days (the only ones I do get contain a lolly or chocolate!), I get the enjoyment of seeing my own kids get all giddy with the CNY festivities.
These hand-painted cookies are for my daughter, who just loves getting dressed in her bright cheongsam (dress) during this time of the year :)
Wishing y’all a Happy and Prosperous Chinese New Year, one that is filled with good health, fortune and happiness xx
