Pretty dance inspired cake

The brief was a very girly cake for Eloise who was turning seven. She likes dancing and pretty things.

Now I’m a mummy to two boys and I LOVE these girly cakes, but I haven’t a clue what seven year old girls are into! I loved the idea of the dancer silhouettes, which were hand cut after blowing up images I found online. I introduced a bit of glamour by creating a glittery number ‘7’ and the whole cake had a pearly lustre making it very pretty and sparkly.
