Charlie and Betty Celebrate 65 Years

A boozy fruit cake for our friends’ parents. My friend Ann made the red roses on the board (first time ever!!). The scene is based on their garden layout and things they love the most. All decorations are hand modelled with sugarpaste. I used a blossom cutter for the little blooms in the flower beds but everything else is hand crafted.

I was working from photographs of the couple and of their garden layout.

Didn’t have time to ‘pose’ this one for the photoshoot, so excuse all the background mess and poor quality pics :(
