This is one of my first cakes. In 2009 I got to make about 25 cakes for Fair fax Media NZ All were books but all unique. This was the first attempt I ever made at making a peony lol

Book Cake for Classified department of the Christchurch Press. News paper is printed edible image but had to create the page so took the opportunity to put some funny classified ads I found on Google into it such as

“Pony For Sale: Looks Like small horse. $900.00 Phone: 09 11111111”

“Wanted:
Single male seeks double jointed supermodel who owns own brewery and grows her own dope. Access to Free concert tickets a plus, as is having an open minded twin sister. Txt 021 1111111”

“Wanted:
Man to take care of cow that does not smoke or drink.Ph Doris 021 2222222222”

“For Sale. Hardly used dentures. Only 2 teeth missing. Ph 027 999999999”

etc….

All the phone numbers are fake lol

I found the ads on google by searching funny ads in images

I Painted the edges of my first attempt at a peonie and used that too

EVERYthing is edible!!
Also added some pictures of a couple of other ones I did
