This was a cake i was dreading, 3 perfectly square blocks and i hate square cakes!! I really wanted them to look like proper blocks so thank you to everyone on here who offered me advice, i finally went with ganaching the blocks and covering them with individual squares of fondant on all sides. They were a labour of love, 18 hours from start to finish but i was really pleased with how they came out in the end! They are 6.5” square and the smaller blocks are fondant fancies for the children at the event
