This cheeseboard cake was made for my husband’s 40th birthday. He is a huge cheese fan! The “board” was a sponge slab cake with currants – my husband’s favourite cake. The cheeses were made from chunks of chocolate brownie which gave them a certain squidge factor!
We placed the cake on the buffet table amongst all the other food and managed to fool a lot of our guests! Some were heard to be wondering where the cake was and why didn’t I have it out on display, whilst others were hunting for the cheese knives!
