This cake was illuminated from within, caverns carved from the bottom of the cake to provide light to the stained glass sugar windows. There are 5 individually designed sugar windows around the cake. The large sugar flower is a Chinese Peony with some fine gilding around the edges. Covered in emerald fondant to pay tribute to the Pantone color of the year.
