This is a 4-tiered round wedding cake i did for a bridal show. Size tiers (all 2-layer) are 6-10-12-14.
I frosted all tiers in buttercream icing, and did scrollwork and design in buttercream icing, with the exception of gumpaste briar roses on top tier, which you can find tutorial on internet for.
I also used satin or polyester black ribbon around base of each tier.
Top tier bottom boarder had a white beaded boarder and black icing with tip #4 scalloped around each bead.
Top tier shown close-up with 2 different gumpaste flowers.
I did a #4 boarder around 2-3-4th base of tiers against bottom of black ribbon.
