My first attempt at a wonderful buttercream ruffle technique. Isn’t it beautiful? I know I’m a “fondant only” kind of gal, but this ruffled cake as well as the rose swirl are two buttercream techniques I will gladly make for clients. Too beautiful to say no.

Thank you. I made sure to make this a pale lemon…to be honest I almost made it in a mint green. I think that would be beautiful too! Maybe my next one.
