Buttons, buttons and more buttons!

Serena’s button cake and cupcakes to celebrate her first birthday! She loves anything with buttons so i packed on as many as i could in really bright primary colours. The cake is a rainbow cake coated in sprinkles and the cupcakes are a mixture of carrot cake and chocolate cake. The buttons around the edge of the board are vintage buttons from my husband’s grandma, which i thought finished the look!
