This was a last minute decision to make a buttercream covered cake. My fondant covering was really sticky and literally melting, due to a very hot weather. So i had to peel them off! But the look of my 3yo boy when he saw his favourite characters on the cake was priceless :)

It was a 10 inch sponge cake and 7 inch red velvet. The figurines are from gumpaste.
