This is a traditional fruitcake covered with marzipan and sugar paste (fondant), decorated with a quilted pattern, silver dragees and a sugar poinsettia.

Ah thats a weird coincidence – I am making a similar cake this week, same design with a large poinsettila.
what a lovely poinsettia you made. I still have to perfect my flowers and cakes. I hope mines turns half as good as yours. This sure looks so elegant. Loved it..
