I made this cake for one of my best friends, who was recently discharged from a clinic in which she had stayed for almost 5 months. She still has a long way to go. Now that she’s back home with her husband and two children I wanted to make a cake for her that symbolised hope, joy and happiness. This cake totally does not fit this season, but it fits my message to her all the better. I had a lot of fun (and stress) making this cake.
