My “Despicable Me” cake for my 4 year old son Liam. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed making this one and getting to spend some time on my modelling and building confidence. Love how kids cakes allow you to go crazy with colour and characters. I just really wanted this cake to be FUN as I loved the movie so much. Its my sons fave chocolate cake with milk chocolate ganache and he totally loved it so I’m a happy mum.
The figurines are sugarpaste and fondant for the clothing and all the characters eyes and clothing details are hand painted.

Raewyn is so right. You can see the love in this cake. Your son must have been so thrilled. I can only imagine his face when he saw this gorgeous cake.
