I made this cake for my niece’s baptism. The cake is all vanilla with buttercream filling. The entire cake is edible. I handmade the roses without the use of a pattern or cutters. The little angel on the crucifix is a replica of a porcelain cake topper—I made her out of fondant and attached her to my fondant-cut crucifix.

This was another fun cake to decorate! It’s simple but I thought less is more especially considering the occasion.
