This cake was defiantly worth the time, I learnt a new technique and got a new cake for my portfolio!!

Wow Laura, this is amazing! I can see how many hours you put into making all of the little “knitting” lines, and the hand painting! It really looks like a knitted hat! Did you use a ball pan for the cake?

This really did take a long time, but it was worth it in the end.
I don’t own any ball pans at the moment, but I hope to
get some in the future, For now I use Pyrex Bowls, they work pretty
well but are not completely round as you need them to be.
