There was much Jubilee fever here in the UK back in June 2012. I was born during Coronation Week in London, so it had special meaning to me… Here is my Royal Jubilee celebratory design I did in honour of the occasion…
The cakes are boozy rich fruit cake and royal iced… the gold around I made from royal icing and sprayed gold. The crown is all cake, sugarpaste and royal icing.
The tea cups and saucers I made and hand painted.
The cupcakes with fun pictures of our Queen I also hand painted onto sugarpaste discs.
The photograph is my very special beautiful mother whose memory I hold dear. She loved the royal family and was a pretty regal lady herself
