Girlie Buzz Lightyear Cake

Cake by Helen Ward posted 221 days ago 535 views 1 time favorited 11 comments Add to Favorites

This cake was such a worry! It took me the best part of a week to make the components for Buzz and then trying to get him to stand up when he is soooo top heavy was so difficult! I delivered the cake to the customer this morning and Buzz was still standing, I just hope they manage to get the cake to the party venue in one piece!

Buzz certainly caught my eye! I’m so impressed he’s standing like that on the side! :D

Hi Susie, frankly, I’m amazed he’s still standing, I sent him away in a box with lots of tissue pape around him just in case! I’m a novice at constructing characters so learning a lot from my mistakes and I made a lot of mistakes in the construction of this one but thank you all for your lovely comments x

Your buzz is awesome!! :) Love the cake!! Is the name plate a cutter or did you do it by hand?

A la Roch – it’s a cutter, it’s made by Orchard Products
