Thank you, ladies! Yes, whitecrafty, it was SO SO SO much work. In the end, we used it to celebrate my Mom’s 50th birthday (on Flag Day) and she was worth the horribly cramped fingers, sore fingers and strained eyes.

Absolutely gorgeous Rachel!! I’ve been through this ruffle mania so I understand the time and patience it take! LOL!
How did you manage to keep the ruffles so cornstarch/icing sugar free? Or did you clean up at the end with something?

Alaska had the perfect dry and cold conditions for cake decorating. I never had to use corn starch or powdered sugar!
