My Mother’s surprise 70th birthday cake. Was a work of love and an emotional journey sifting through masses of family photos.
Top tier is a 6" dark choc mud cake and bottom tier is an 8" strawberry and white choc mud cake.
Images are 100% edible printed on rice paper with edible ink. A posy pick is inserted in the top tier to hold the feathers.
Board is covered with white RTR and embossed with a floral rolling pin.
Purple is her favourite colour but I loathe working with it; fades soooo fast.
