Madison's 16th Birthday

This poor cake was a disaster! It started out as a Topsy Turvy cake and fell while I was putting the butter cream on. So, that first cake all got thrown in the freezer, and I started baking again. Once I got all of these layers done and cooled, I started fresh and chose to forget the fondant and the Topsy Turvy and just go with butter cream. When the client came to pick it up, she got out of the driveway, and down to the corner and called me stating that it took a nose dive in the back seat! So, back she came, and I was up until midnight trying to repair the damage. It was a mess.

Awww, so sorry about all the bad thinks that happened to your poor cake, but in the end, it turned out amazing! I hope your client appreciated you staying up late to repair the damage!

I know Goreti. Thank God that cake is out of my life!! I did not make any money at all on it. In fact, I lost money big time. You win some, you lose some. Thank you both, Goreti and Toni.
