Splattered Cake & Cupcakes

A chid’s request, I did this splatter cake for them for their 7th birthday party. This vanilla cake was crumb coated in vanilla buttercream. The cake and cupcakes were wrapped in fondant.

Royal Icing was made in several neon colors to use for the splatter. The final photo shows “the mess” made during the splattering technique.
