- SORRY, PICTURES OF THIS CAKE HAVE BEEN REMOVED BY REQUEST – PLEASE DELETE POST **
I was writing about this for my blog tomorrow but I thought I would go ahead and share it with you guys. I made this cake this past weekend for a groom who really likes smokeless tobacco.
The original can is about 2" across – we scaled it up to 16" for the cake.. yep it was BIG! We used modeling chocolate for the sides and the lid. We cut most of the lettering from modeling chocolate too. The bottom half of the lid and the side label was printed on edible image sheets and pieced together.
I also made edible “tobacco” by mixing coconut with brown food coloring and then cooking it on very low heat to dry it out some. The look was very convincing!
