Lechon is a pork dish that refers to a suckling pig that is roasted. This is a popular food in the Philippine which features a whole roasted pig cooked over charcoal.It is our national dish which is prepared throughout the year for any special occasion, during festivals, and the holidays.
It is a very popular dish indeed however, due to a number of people who cannot eat it (vegetarians, or people with hypertension and heart disease) we were given an idea of making it into a cake.
