Terry Pratchett 'Discworld' chest cake

I have never posted anything on here before so thought I’d start with one of my favorite cakes. This was a real challenge! It was for the mum of a colleague at work who loves Terry Pratchett’s Discworld. You can see an image from the book on the calendar behind the cake which is what I copied the chest from.

The chest itself was carved from a 10 inch chocolate cake filled with ganache, cut in half and stacked on top of a polystyrine brick (which was covered in fondant and covered with the legs). There are about 50 legs in total.

I was delighted with this cake as was its recipient!
