i did this cake when a customer came in and asked if we could make a realistic looking dog cake. It was for his girlfriends birthday and the dog was her “baby”. He gave me a photo of and said to be sure to make the ears long – just like the photo. When he came to pick it up he kind of freaked out as it looked so real ( it was life size). They came back by a few days later to tell me it was the best cake they had ever seen and eaten. It is also one of my favorite cakes that I’ve ever done.
