side details on two different cakes

Cake by Corrie posted 565 days ago 428 views 3 times favorited 2 comments Add to Favorites

these are the sides of two different cakes….I do this by using a crusting buttercream icing and coloring in the designs with a #2 tip….it looks really messed up when you are done, then I use a viva papertowel to smush the heck out of the colored in areas- using a scraper to smooth and smooth and smooth it down flat. Lastly I outline the colored in areas with a #2 or #3 tip to clean it up and define the design.
