I was inspired by some of my favorite buttercream artists to make this cake. I have never seen buttercream barnacles done, so it was definitely a cool experiment, and I am sooo happy it worked out! The netting is Icing Images FlexFrost, and the shells and starfish are made from Satin Ice fondant.
