Gender Reveal Cake

What better way to let people know that a baby girl or boy is on the way. I was inspired by the invite. but the mom-to-be didn’t want it too fussy. This is what I came up with. Decorations are fondant/gumpaste and edible images. Top tier was dark chocolate cake with whipped cream filling (for dad) and the bottom tier was vanilla cake with whipped cream filling also. I dyed it pink because it’s a baby girl and all covered in buttercream. It was so fun to be a ‘partner in crime’ with the parents.
