To everyone who has faced cancer and have won or lost the battle, and to all their families who have seen it face to face , I dedicate this “Wreath of Health”, made for an International Sugar Flower Collaboration for World Cancer Day, headed by the lovely Catalina Anghel.

The wreath is a symbol of life and eternal life. It is also a symbol of the seasons it represents. My Wreath of Health contains flowers, berries and fruits that not only represent health but provides it as well.

The lemon is a symbol of optimism and joy. It is also a powerhouse of antioxidants and used in households across the world for its various amazing properties.
Olive branches are a symbol of peace and tranquility. The olive berries are again powerful antioxidants and consumed the world over for its numerous health benefits.
The lavender flower represents tranquility and is believed to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant properties.
The pristine tiny chamomile flowers, a symbol of rest and relaxation is used in teas to relax and calm the body.
The Calendula flower, I recently learnt, is a powerful anti-tumor and anti-carcinogenic.
The calendula and lavender is usually called upon during times of grief for its cheering properties.
