I made this cake for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary party after viewing Colette Peter’s Vintage Cakes Modern Methods class on Craftsy.com. The cakes are covered in Fondant and the gold “cage” decorations were piped with royal icing. The flowers are gumpaste and were made with a series of round cutters, one petal at a time.
