A birthday cake for our friend Tom. I tried a new recipe and made myself an extra layer to try it out, delicious! 3 layers of 8" cake. A yellow batter with just a teaspoon of cinnamon. A cinnamon and sugar glaze on each layer with homemade caramel sauce swirled over the glaze. Iced in Caramel Italian meringue icing with white chocolate sails as the topper painted with edible gold, a few white chocolate truffles and cinnamon sticks Homemade caramel sauce drips.
