Sharing my 1st creation on a Cookie for the Incredible India II Cake Collaboration 💖
My inspiration yet again comes from my trip to Jaipur, where I saw the royal peacock up close,outside my room visiting me in the early mornings. The peacock is personified in many ways. As the national bird of India or as Mayura in Sanskrit which is one of the sacred birds in the Hindu mythology. Mayura is believed to be a vahana for Lord Ganesha & many more deities.
The peacock tail feathers known as Morpankh has the “eyes” of the stars, which represents awakening, vision, spirituality. Using this as my inspiration I have created the beauty of the peacock in bas relief modelling technique on a cookie with royal colors and hand painting with a 2d visual which brings my creation to life.
