Decided to get back into gumpaste flowers. This will be going on my neighbor’s Christmas cake. Poinsettia done with template from Alan Dunn’s book and a generic veiner. Pinecones are gum paste (let it dry out a bit to get texture). Pine needles are floral tape. So glad I watched Nicholas Lodge’s video on YouTube. Not only to help with colors for dusting the pinecones but for the idea of using floral tape for the pine needles.
