The base of the cake is made from Sponge (lb cake), the head is RKT, covered in fondant and painted with antique gold lustre and Gildesol (for the burnished look).
The beads are individually hand made and took over 4 hours to put just the neckdress on alone. The Hieroglyphics read (approx) ‘Tutankhamun, ruler snad sovereign of upper kingdom , son of Akhenaten and Nefertiti and of the great gods’ etc etc (well there abouts anyways lol)
the decorating took approx 20-25 hours
