I chose the T-Birds’ and Pink Ladies’ jackets to base my piece on, as I think they are such a key part of the film and story. The 2 groups of friends who were so intertwined, even before the story starts, and the following through to Danny giving up his jacket and Sandy gaining one! I tried to add other pieces which add to their images; the Brylcream, metal combs and cigarettes for the T-Birds; the shoes, scarves and sun glasses for the Pink Ladies!! Peachy-Keen Jelly Bean!
