I saw this technique used in an instavid by @cakesbyanne and loved the effect. This is created by simply applying a partial layer of buttercream to a chilled layer behind it, then the jagged edges highlighted. I’m not sure what this effect is called, so I’m calling it “chipped“ buttercream. The flowers are Wafer Paper and have been accented with gel colors and silver luster. The sprinkles are from Baking Time Club.
