Ruffles & mini cakes

The birthday girl requested that her cake “reflect her personality”. When asked to tell me a little bit about herself, she sent me an email about a mile long detailing every single thing on earth that she likes! So I narrowed it down to her “absolute most favorite” things ~ pink, black, ruffles, peonies, shoes, photography, music, and the bible. She had a hard time deciding if she wanted one large cake or mini cakes, so I did both. I probably spent more time talking to her about her cakes than I did actually making them, but it was so much fun getting to know her :)
