Dr. Seuss Graduation Cake

You’ve got to love the whole Dr. Seuss theme. It’s hard to not have a smile on your face when designing a cake around his work. This is a graduation cake for a young lady who is befittingly off to study creative writing in the fall. I applied Yener’s rolled fondant method on the bottom tier. Endless design possibilities with this method. He offers a tutorial on it.
The balloon, girl, and clouds were created using icing sheets applied to fondant, and the trees and flowers are handmade from wafer paper.
