A group of international sugarcraft artists and cake designers who are or have been directly or indirectly affected by Lupus joined forces to raise awareness and let people know what it means to live with this autoimmune condition.
I was diagnosed in 2009 with this invisible disease & its changed my life in so many ways. A lot of people do not know much about this illness & how it can be debilitating at times.
My inspiration for my piece are flowers the butterfly. I visit a lot of botanical gardens where I find comfort being close to nature . It’s a form of therapy for me.
