Title: “Gauri”

Incredible India! The Indian “Sub-continent” is rightly titled so, due to it’s unreasonably extensive cultural and racial diversity. Our entry stems from the affectionate people of Goa. “Gauri” the fishmonger, with what seemed like the basket full of the sea, was drawn from memory. Her daily visits not only carried with her the most brilliant seafood the state has to offer, but along with her charismatic personality, the entertainment and ease of speaking with humble goans who can’t seem to give enough love and respect. This 2 foot tall cake, is an ode to the lady who certainly brightened up my childhood.
